Strength isn't just physical. It's what we do for each other.
Iron Core exists because of Scranton. This community supported us from day one — showing up, spreading the word, believing in what we were building. We don't forget that. IC Gives is our way of returning the favor, one barbell at a time.
We believe everyone deserves access to strength training, regardless of their background or bank account. We believe in supporting those who serve our community. And we believe that a gym should be more than just a place to work out — it should be a force for good.
Free after-school strength training for Scranton-area high school athletes. We provide coaching, programming, and a safe space to train — no cost, no catch.
50% off membership for all police, firefighters, EMTs, and military personnel. These folks put their bodies on the line for us — the least we can do is help them stay strong.
Every November we host a month-long food drive for the Scranton Food Bank. Members who donate receive a free IC Gives t-shirt and our eternal gratitude.
We set aside spots each year for individuals facing financial hardship who want to train but can't afford it. Apply confidentially — no judgment, just lifting.
Join us at our next community event. All are welcome.
Max deadlift for reps in 60 seconds. $20 entry + canned goods. All proceeds go to Scranton Food Bank.
Free open gym day for all first responders and their families. BBQ, demos, and community.
Our youth program athletes demonstrate what they've learned. Parents and community welcome.
Charity powerlifting meet. All entry fees donated to local mental health initiatives.
“The youth program changed my son's life. He went from barely making the JV team to starting varsity, but more than that — he found confidence, discipline, and mentors who actually care. Iron Core isn't just a gym, it's family.”— Maria S., Parent of Youth Program Athlete
